Fix Windows 7 Activation Status Not Available or SLMgr 0×80070422 Error

Windows 7 displays the system activation status in System Properties, which can be accessed via Control Panel -> System and Security -> System. However, sometimes, Windows activation may display error message which saying activation status not available, together with product ID which is also not available.

When user run slgmr -dli or slmgr -dlv commands to verify the activation status of the Windows 7 system, the following error will occur:

Fix Limited or No Connectivity Error on Windows Vista and 7

While Windows 7 technologies are, as a general rule, available exclusively with the latest iteration of the Windows client from Microsoft, there also are exceptions.

The Personalization Gallery on Windows.com is an online nook dedicated to offering users free resources for the customization of the Windows 7 operating system. Following the close monitoring of that space, we informed you that new themes for Windows 7 had been made available for download. It took Microsoft quite some time, but the company is finally explaining why end users can have Ducati, Ferrari and Porsche themes for free on their desktops.

Xbox Arcade and $100 gift card for $199 on Nov. 7

Rumors have been going around recently regarding a supposedly upcoming Walmart deal, in which an Xbox 360 Arcade will be up for offer, along with a $100 gift voucher, for $199.

All of a sudden this morning, the retailer has confirmed the deal, scheduled to hit on Saturday, November 7.

According to Kotaku, the deal will last for just one day, and is part of what will be regularly weekly deals leading up to the retail bonanza that is Black Friday.

Netflix Available for Windows 7

As of November 2nd, 2009, Netflix content began being available to Windows 7 users through Windows Media Center.

Having launched its latest Windows client on October 22nd, Microsoft kicked up a notch Windows Media Center in select editions of the operating system, by providing users with additional content. Customers running Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate, namely the editions featuring Windows Media Center, will be able to enjoy Internet TV and Netflix.

VMware Workstation 7 released with full Windows 7 support

VMware has announced the latest version it’s flagship virtualization software – VMware Workstation 7 which is packed full of new features which are huge – including full 3D graphics support for virtual machines.
