Google Squared – Search Results in a Grid

June 4th, 2009 by TechLad Leave a reply »

Google Squared from Google Labs is an attempt to simplify the quest for information by putting all the results together in a more readable format – the Grid.

A search for Indian Prime Ministers gave the below results:

google-squared

google-squared

The display format and the results look good. All put together in a simplified grid view.

Is it a threat form Wolfram Alpha that has forced Google to come out with Google Squared? Can say in one way, but I believe Google will have to make lot of improvements to Google Squared before it is made a finished product.
